Why All Electric Floor Finishing? In the earlier days of the company, Minneapolis and St. Paul were expanding. The suburbs and outer fringe areas did not have sufficient power to successfully operate the sanding equipment.

Our company took on the challenge since we did not want to use sub-par equipment; we used a trailer-mounted generator as our power source. Today, this may seem to be a minor service but back then portable generators were rare and difficult to maintain.

Marc Smith, the current owner, elected to continue the name and heritage of producing quality floors with today's modern equipment.
